Made Men, while continuing to promote in the Tri-state area, is expanding its reach to a new markets in Texas, Kentucky, and Iowa.
The company first took interest in MMA in 2018, bringing award winning Rivers Casino in Pittsburgh, the first ever live MMA event and has since hosted over 50 events between both boxing and MMA. Angelo, still very passionate for the sport, refocused his boxing career by hanging up his gloves, and instead working full time as a promoter and match maker for his own organization.Īfter building a base of fans through promoting fighters and hosting many events, Made Men Promotions became one the most active boxing companies in the area, reviving the tri-state's love for combat sports which at the time only saw a hand full of shows a year until Made Men hit the scene picking up momentum from 2013 until 2020, when the pandemic rocked the nation. Once recovered, he pursued an amateur career on his own, followed up by 3 professional fights before injuring his shoulder again in his 3rd fight. Angelo's time with AAH was cut short after a Shoulder injury required surgery. The boxing organization AAH at the time, was recruiting Division 1 athletes to mold into Olympians for the 2012 games.
Originally based in the Ohio, West Virginia, Pennsylvania Tristate, Made Men Promotions was established in 2012 by Angelo Magnone, a former collegiate athlete, who was recruited by All American Heavy-Weights (AAH).
